Books have been an important part of our education and entertainment ever since the invention of the Printing Press in 1440. Many use books just as reliable source of information but we believe that many read just for the entertainment and to escape from the reality to the fictional world. In our time and the rise of Internet it is becoming increasingly more popular to read E-books or even listen to the books as a form of audiobooks.
There are many factors that influence our choice of books, such as age, gender, influence
from our childhood, our culture, if we want to use it for our education, recommendation from
our family or our friends, recommendation from the internet, newspaper, blogs and we think
the most important is the kind of books that are popular among our peers. The choice of our
books can be also influence by what are the best-selling books in that moment, called bestsellers.
This kind of books are often made into popular movies, that are sometimes even more popular than the book.
The places people usually gettheir books are that they buy in the bookshops or even order them from the internet. The other way of getting your handson books is that you can borrow them from your local librariesor from your family or friends. The type of books people usually read can be divided into two categories fiction and non-fiction. Fiction books tend to prioritize the aesthetic pleasure and the imagination of the reader. On the other hand, non-fiction books are full of facts and prioritize on education of the reader.
In the category of fiction books are many genres of books. These genres we can further divide into
two categories. The first category is books that are set around events that happened in our history,
or the plot is happening in real life setting. In the category we can include genres such as science
fiction, detective stories, thrillers, romance, western, young adult and many more. The second category
of fictional books is books that set in non-realistic world. The entire world is imagined and created
by the author of book and all the events that happen in book didn’t happen or couldn’t happened in our
real world. In the category we can mostly find books that are in fantasy genre. But it is important
to know that some fantasy books can be also in the category of realistic fictional books, because the
plot can be happening based on the real world.
The non-fictional books give us facts and try to present information about some historical events, philosophy, give us information about life of a person, general knowledge or some information from some branch of science.In encyclopaedias or textbooks, we usually find some general knowledge or some paragraphs about topic we are trying to research. We can also use special research papers to find some special information about our topicof interest. Biographis can be used to find some useful information about some specific person. Non-fictional books aren’t just about finding information, it can be also used to as guide for cooking or on your travels. For this we especially use cookbooks and travel guides.
As we already mentioned the books can be interpreted as printed books, E-books or audiobooks. Now we are going
to compare these types of interpreting books and tell you some pros and cons of these types of books.
Printed books are the first type of interpretation of books. Printed books can also have paperback or hardback.
The difference between them is that paperback book can be more easily damaged but are much lighter than
the hardback books. On the other hand, the hardback books are more durable than the paperback books and
as we already mentioned they are heavier than the paperback books. It is also important to mention the difference
in price of these types of books. The paperback books are cheaper than the hardback books, but the hardback
books have a prettier design that can be a also a significant reason why people want to have the hardback type
of books. Some advantages why people like to buy printed books are the smells of printed books, the fact that
you can decorate your home with them and the fact that you don’t need electricity to read them. But some cons
could be weight of them, the fact that they take a lot of space in your home and that they can be damaged.
E-books are becoming more popular in society. On of the reasons could be that you can buy your copy of the book and instantly read it. This is really great especially when you really want to read some book, but it is sold out in every bookstore. Also, you have all your books in one place, stored in your tabled or mobile phone. Because of this it is also easy to carry them around. E-books are also more environmentally friendly thanthe normal paper books. Another advantage of E-books is that they are cheaper than paper books. The main disadvantage of E-books is that it is harmful to your eyesight, and it can be also more tiring than reading paper books. When reading this type of books, you should remember to charge you device, where are you readingyour book. And also, you can be easily disturbed while reading books, by some text messages, etc.
Listening to audiobooks also have its benefits and disadvantages. The main advantage is that you can multitask
while you listen to your favourite book. You can also improve you pronunciation just by listening to it and also
big advantage is that you can listen to it anywhere you want. But disadvantages of this type of reading are
that you are less focused on the word that you are doing. Also, you don’t remember as much information from
the book in comparison to reading it.
In conclusion every type of book has it pros and cons, but it totally up to you which type of book is for you.
If you like the feeling and smell of paper the paper books are your best choice. If you like to read a lot but
you don’t have than many finances or place to have all the paper books the best type for you is the E-book or audiobook.

the to develop their imagination and curiosity, they can be better at describing thing or creating their own

For this example we have picked the book Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. The main plot focuses on the main villain of the Hunger Games series, Coriolanus Snow and his rise to power 64 years before the main plot in first Hunger Games book. The book starts in Capitol, besides Capitol there are other 12 District in thisnew world called Panem. The Capitol is decimated by war that ended 10 years ago, when Capitol defeated the reaming Districts and as a reminder of their defeat, they organize Hunger Games, where two children from each district fight to dead. We see Coriolanus Snow as a student, who wants to win the Plinth’s prize to save his family, which lost nearly all of their property in war. But there is unexpected turn of events when they announce that in order to win the Plinth prize, they are going to assign each student a tribute from random district and the Plinth prize will win student, who’tribute will win the Hunger Games. Coriolanus Snow gets a girl from 12. District called Lucy Gray Baird. All the tributes are treated inhumanely and are put into local ZOO for display until the games start.
Until the start of the Games some of the tributes died and also all
the students try to get Sponsors for their tribute to help them in the
arena. The Games starts and it is blood bath, but at the end Lucy Gray
Baird manages to win with the help of the sponsors but also the help of
Coriolanus Snow, who gave her rat poison which she uses to poison one
of the tributes and in the end it helps her to win. After the victory,
Lucy Gray Baird is put back into her district. But Dean Casca Highbotton
accuses Snow of cheating and sentence him to work as Peacekeeper for
20 years in District 12. There he reunites with Lucy Gray,and they have
their little love story there. In this district also arrives Snow ‘sclassmate
Sejanus. He starts plotting plans to escape the district with the local rebels.
Snow finds out about their plan and sends this information to
the Head Gamemaker Dr. Volumnia Gaul. Sejanus and the rebels are
executed as the direct cause of Snow’s actions. Lucy Gray finds out about
what Snow did, and she tries to flee but Snow is trying to catch and kill her.
But we didn’t know if he was successful in this. Snow returns to the
Capitol and starts to study under the guidance of Dr. Gaul. With this
the book ends and we are left wondering if Lucy Gray lives or he killed her.
This book was written by Suzanne Collins. She is an
American author and television writer, best known for
the Hunger Games series. But she has also written
children series The Underland Chronicles. At the
start of her carrier,she had worked as the writer
of some popular children TV series. She has also
won many awards for her work,such Locus Award,
Golden Duck Award, Goodreads Choice Award. Many
of these awards were in Young Adult or Science-Fiction categories.
